The
final resting place of St. James. This is one big cathedral.
Tania and Allie will Arive here on Friday May 28, 2004 (Audrey expected
on Saturday!) and complete the longest trek across Spain they've always
dreamed!
Congratulations Ladies - You're amazing for what you've accomplished
Further thought from Tania:
This picture is by far my most favorite, to see the excitement, the
confidence and the wonderfulness of all of our faces just brings such a
warm feeling to my heart. I will, til the day I die, remember
this moment, captured by a cheap camera of the "Canadian Cuties" as we
were named and remembered on the Camino with those whom we had the
pleasure of walking.
In all of the days leading up to the Camino (that's alot of days, five
years worth) I had always envisioned walking alone, however it was not
meant to be, instead I had the most amazing pleasure of getting to know
both Audrey and Allie and spent endless days and hours walking and
talking, singing, listening to you both play your fife and recorder,
all of us taking turns from time to time crying, grieving, loving and
then of course parting ways. I could not have asked God/Goddess for
better traveller companions.
I hope that in many years to come we will be in touch with one another
and recount the many stories that we all share.
Thank you Audrey and Allie, my beautiful Camino family and newfound
Canadian friends.
Love, Tania
