Day 1
The
flight: With only a minor hiccup in flight times... and a
quick journey to the airport, Tania was off to England at 8:05 pm
without a hitch... well, let's just say that travelling 150 km/hr down
the 401 at 6:40 and just making it before the ticket counter closed,
the flight was an interesting start! At 4:10 am I got a call
that she was in England and ready to take a bus to the airport taking
her to the south of France. The second flight would hopefully
be less hectic!
On the flight to Biarritz, Tania met up with a
group of Canadians from the Little
Company of Pilgrims of Canada. They are an older
bunch, but together found a place to stay for $E 16.50. Not
bad on the budget!
